“Black/White” Jordan Future

black white jordan future Black/White Jordan Future

The Jordan Future has released in three different colorways so far, with each of those being reasonably loud thanks to the multicolor upper, the reflective threads, and the glow in the dark treatment. Finally providing something more subtle is this pair that is straight black and white. It’s been pretty much confirmed at this point that the Jordan Future will be staying away from traditional Jordan 11 colorways to help establish its own DNA, but it’s hard to take a look at these and not get a little bit of a “Space Jam” vibe thanks to the black upper/white sole combo. See more on them after the break and watch for an Air Jordan release date on these from Sneaker News.

nike kobe 9 philippines inspiration A Breakdown Of The Nike Kobe 9 EM Philippines Design Inspiration

The Nike Kobe 9 “Philippines” might be a tough sneaker to decipher for those of you who aren’t of Filipino descent. The sneakers pay tribute to the rich basketball culture of that nation, and were created by Nike Basketball graphic designer Eric Goto, who has some Filipino blood running through his veins himself. The shoes reference the banig bed mat, tsinelas sandals, and plenty of more local items that you can see after the break thanks to this piece from Locker Room Legends. Take a look at them below and let us know in the comments if you’re a fan of this flavorful Kobe 9.

Nike Air Foamposite “112″ Customs by Customs From PR

nike-air-foamposite-112-customs-by-customs-from-pr

Is it just me, or did it seem like everyone slept on the Primitive x DJ Clark Kent x Nike SB “112″ shoes from the fall? A black and grey hightop, with elephant print dominating the rear, plus a little spice provided by the volt toned accents!? Hypebeasts definitely overlooked those, but I guess that gives real sneakerheads more opportunities to cop them. Customs From PR is now taking on this same theme, after knocking a series of customs in recent weeks, including his AJ11 Low “Roses.”

The Nike Air Foamposite “112″ customs by Customs From PR are black on the glossy uppers, with soft grey elephant print all over the shoes and volt accents. The unique, stout silhouette of the Air Foamposites are the perfect base for these wildly printed shoes. Elephant print never seems to die in the footwear world, and PR made great usage of the classic pattern. To add some spark to these kicks, PR placed a bold, volt outsole on the bottom, which is coordinated flawlessly by the volt lacing, up top.

We definitely see the inspiration of the original “112″ shoes present, but Customs From PR made this theme all his own with these Air Foamposites! Would these be something you would cop in a general release? Hit us up in the comments section!

With the team back in Los Angeles following off-court controversy and Adam Silver’s banning of Donald Sterling, the game was a major event. The Clippers showed out on the big night, defeating the Warriors to take a 3-2 series lead. Blake Griffin played well, dropping 18 points in a Black/Infrared Jordan Super.Fly 2 PO. See what else was worn last night in today’s Kicks On Court.

Reebok X Size Magazine Shoe Celebrates The Chinese Year Of The Horse

reebok-size-magazine-classic-leather-galloping-horse-2-1140x641

Reebok have been turning out some impressive collaborations of late, and here is another project that speaks volumes. Teaming up with highly regarded Chinese footwear publication Size Magazine on a rendition of the Classic Leather, the collaboration is part of a celebration of Size’s 10th anniversary. Highlighted by a “Galloping Horse” theme — which refers to the Year of the Horse being celebrated this year on the Chinese lunar calendar — the design is derived from “A Galloping Horse’s Hoof Stepped on a Flying Shadow,” a sculpture of immense cultural and artistic value to China. The shoe is highlighted by a combination of vibrant blue, aqua and yellow across the leather upper, and completed with subtle Chinese characters for ‘horse’ and ’10.’
