Ojaga Design x Puma Disc Blaze

The Puma Disc Trinomic is one of the most original designs in Puma‘s lineup, and it just got a whole lot weirder thanks to a collaboration with Japan’s Ojaga Design. As if the lacing system wouldn’t hold the shoe down in the originality department to start, Ojaga takes the retro running silhouette and claims the design with two new bold colorways rooted in geometric shapes of a dazzling array. Star cut perforations, premium leather, suede toeboxes and additional diamond shapes flank throughout while a decidedly lifestyle array of brown shades clash with vibrant pops of red, blue, and green. Pick up this Puma Disc Blaze right now courtesy of Bodega for 5.

While the recent adidas Originals EQT Running Guidance 93 was mostly inspired by the color of “Malt” grains used for brewing beer, the Sneakersnstuff x adidas Originals “Brewery Pack” is continued with this unique interpretation of the adidas Originals Stan Smith.

Dubbed “Copper Kettle,” the silhouette’s aesthetic derives from the Copper kettles in the old brewery, which were used in the process of making beer. Essentially sporting an eye-catching Copper hue for its leather upper, the Stan Smith’s simplistic profile is adhered to an Off-White rubber sole unit, with natural malt accents adorning the lining and outsole.

Finished off with White laces, Stan Smith’s face embossed on the tongue, and custom insoles with artwork incorporating both the adidas logo and pictures of hops to represent the beer flavor of this adidas Originals ”Brewery Pack,” the Sneakersnstuff x adidas Originals Stan Smith “Copper Kettle” is scheduled to make its debut at Sneakersnstuff on May 23 for .

Happy Birthday Andre! 10 Great Nike Shoes worn by Andre Agassi

Much like the Michael Jordan changed the game of basketball, was an exception to the norm, and brought mainstream attention to the game, so too did Andre Agassi to tennis.

His rock and roll persona amped up the quiet game drawing the attention of the MTV generation and Hollywood elite. The man behind the racquet scored many endorsements over his career but none as big as Nike. His vibrant signatures changed the image of “tennis shoe,” adding color to a once dull genre.

In celebration of Andre’s 45th birthday, we wanted to take the time to dedicate our 10 favorite Nike shoes that he wore throughout his historic career.

Happy Birthday, Andre!

Campless Explores the “Best of the Best” in Sneaker Resell Market

words // Darren Griffin:

In the time since the sneaker resell market rose to prestige, the perception about after market sells have been flawed to say the least. Not every hyped release triples its retail cost and actually sells on eBay, and Yeezy’s certainly aren’t going for k on a weekly, monthly or even annual basis. Campless recently shed some light of this disillusioned theory highlighting the best of the best in the sneaker resell market. Tracking sells from January 2014 to March 2015, Campless intently keys on shoes that sold for over 0+ following their retail release. And to the surprise of many, only 14 pairs of sneakers over the past 15 months have actually accomplished that feat. And even those haven’t sold in the numbers you’d expect. See for yourself in the graphics below.

This Newer Version Of The “All-White” Huarache Might Be Better Than The Original

The all-white Huaraches were easily one of the must-have Retros since it first popped its head out of the ground in European shops. Re-sale prices were almost triple the retail value and once the Nike Huarache hit NIKEiD, people were happily shelling out 0 plus tax for the clean white look. More recently, Nike dropped the shoes everywhere in the United States to fulfill the demand, but another version of the angelic Huaraches have arrived – and they might be better than the first. This version here, despite being exclusive to women, makes use of the original neoprene toe-box and even features a texturized upper for quite the unique composition. Yes, you can get neoprene white toeboxes on NIKEiD, but have you seen the results? The white is closer to a yellowish-beige. If you’re still looking for a pair, cop now at Nike Sportswear retailers like KITH.

With the more exclusive Liberty of London x Nike Zenji “Merlin” arriving next month, a more classic rendition of the newly-introduced Zenji is showcased in the timeless Black/White colorway.

Constructed of a breathable Black mesh upper which includes a honeycomb-pattern underlay, the sneaker inherits a bootie-like construction, that’s secured via a neoprene sock collar. Additionally, the vamp bears a matching synthetic overlay bearing the iconic Swoosh, in addition to reinforcing the upper by securing its laces.

Solidified by a thick, yet lightweight White phylon sole unit to top it all off, you can find this iteration of the Zenji at select Nike retailers now, including KITH for .

Could this Air Jordan 4 “Alternative 89″ Sample Release Soon?

words // Darren Griffin:

With the Air Jordan 4 “Oreo” and “Legend Blue” already making their mark on 2015, it’s to wonder if any more gems will grace this year in sneakers. Well, today a new iteration popped up, one that is labeled as being an alternative ’89 sample. Almost assuredly an unreleased alteration of the Air Jordan 4 “Fire Red” colorway, this pair simply features white and red tones, sans black infusion in lieu of the Jumpman at the tongue. Further details include “Alternative 89″script inside the shoe’s heel tabs. Could Jordan Brand be readying this elder sample for a general release? With no official word either way, only time will tell at this point. But stay tuned for further developments on the Air Jordan 4 “Alternative 89″ sample.

adidas Sides With Spotify In The Music Streaming Battle

Jay-Z is currently taking some flak for the underwhelming launch of the new Tidal music streaming service, and things may have just gotten even more difficult for Hov thanks to adidas teaming up with Spotify for adidas Go. The three stripes’ latest mobile fitness application utilizes the built-in accelerometer on an iPhone to curate a runner’s favorite music, matching the beats per minute of a song to the intensity of the coinciding workout in real time. Now runners can explore new music on the go with effortless ease instead of worrying about curating a playlist beforehand – but good luck finding any Jay-Z, Beyonce, or any other song from an artist that backs the rival Tidal service. There was some fear that the Spotifys of the world would have an uphill battle against them with big draws pledging their allegiance, but it’s clear that their future is safe with partnerships with multi-billion dollar brands. If you have an iPhone 4S or later, you can download the adidas Go app today, and you’ll even be gifted a free 7-Day Spotify Premium trail.
