Detailed Look at the Nike KD 8 Elite ‘White’



Nike KD 8 Elite White

The Nike KD 8 Elite has just unveiled which is the latest upgrade to the Nike KD 8 line. Expected to be worn by Kevin Durant during the 2015-16 Playoff run, the ‘White’ pair is one of three color schemes to be introduced.

One of the highlights on the KD 8 Elite is the calf length compression sock and full length Zoom Air Cushioning. The base, while done in White features Flywire technology along with Kevlar aramid fiber. Non-stretch woven materials are placed which allows for protection and comfort. Looking closer, you will notice Light Blue landing on the top eyelets and translucent outsole while Silver hits part of the midsole. Finishing them off is Dark Obsidian on the Nike and KD branding which closely resembles something KD would wear at home.

Nike KD 8 Elite White Release Date

The Nike KD 8 Elite ‘White’ will release at Nike Basketball retailers on April 14th, 2016. A retail price has yet to be announced. Check out more images of this Elite and let us know what you think by leaving a comment.

Nike Air Foamposite One Deadpool Custom

Chef decided to cook up a very simple pair of Nike Air Foamposite One ‘Deadpool’ Custom to show support for the long awaited film adaptation of this beloved “merc with a mouth”.

Chef referenced some popular Deadpool logos and simply worked it into the entire shoe. A super-glossy red base coat and deep blood red stippling contrast nicely with the glossy textured black and white eyes. A simple tongue logo re-face and another set of hand painted logos at the heels along with a blacked out sole and white laces complete this Foamposite One Deadpool custom.

BRONX NEWS: Bronx charter school audit shows missing funds, Metrocards


A Bronx charter school spent ,000 on 180 MetroCards but could only account for 37 of them, according to an audit released Monday by city Controller Scott Stringer.


Staffers at the South Bronx Charter School for International Cultures and the Arts also spent almost ,000 on meals but didn’t have itemized receipts to show how the money was spent.


In addition, the audit found the school’s principal was paid an extra ,000 for running an after-school program that was already part of her contract.


“If we are going to make sure that every child in our city has a fair and fighting chance to succeed, we must ensure that money spent on their education actually goes toward that goal,” said Stringer.
