Nike Air Berwuda Black Spruce/Parachute Gold

The Air Berwuda, Nike’s homage to the classic Air Bermuda from 1979, is now available in a new black spruce/parachute gold colorway. The shoe, which mixes design cues from the Air Bermuda with modern materials and construction, features a lightweight upper consisting of black Engineered Mesh with grey textile overlays and black and gold nubuck accents. The lightweight, technical upper rests atop an old-school EVA midsole with Nike Air in the heel. You can find this colorway at select Nike locations and online.

Nike Free Inneva Woven “Newsprint”

Reminiscent of the “Mine Grey” and “Armory Navy” renditions of the silhouette, Nike Sportswear’s acclaimed Free Inneva Woven has made a debut in a brand new “Newsprint” colorway. Adopting the greyish-black hue for the entirety of its hand-woven nylon upper, the shoe sees Blue Hero applied to its leather-lined suede heel panel while matching rope laces and a speckled Free 5.0 sole complete the package. Nike Lunar LDV Trail Low “Linen”

Just two weeks ago Nike unveiled its latest hybrid creation in which the American shoemaker took its iconic LDV silhouette from 1978 and placed it atop its critically acclaimed Lunarlon sole to create the Lunar LDV Trail Low. The result was a juxtaposition of both old and new innovations: a classic long distance runner with state-of-the-art cushioning. Today, the longstanding athletic apparel purveyor presents the design in an ultra breathable “Linen” make-up. Adorned in the neutral shade along with Atomic Red and black accents and complete with a retro-inspired nylon tongue, the above casual trainer is currently available through atmos for ¥12,600 JPY (approximately $ 128 USD).

Hypebeast Road Trips in Portland, Oregon – Crafting Process with Shwood

Following up to the first installment of Hypebeast Roadtrips, where we showed you Danner’s bootmaking facilities, we now shed light on another Portland, Oregon-based brand. Home to some of the most reputable multinational companies and locally owned establishments, Portland’s diverse, close-knit landscape continues to attract creatives from around the world, adding to the all-embracing pool of talent. One of such companies is the experimental eyewear brand Shwood. Joined by founder and designer Eric Singer as he narrates the manufacturing process of each handcrafted pieces — from the individual plies of wood (sustainably harvested), to the finished frame fitted with Italian-made Carl Zeiss lenses. Unique characteristics from the wood used can be seen in each pair of sunglasses Shwood produces, intersecting nature with innovation. In a usual COMME des GARÇONS fashion, the latest pieces were showcased through a runway show. As one of the younger designers at the prestigious Japanese fashion house, Fumito Ganryu’s designs seem confident and unique, featuring their trademark patterning and fabric selection. This collection is titled, Surf The Balance, taking inspiration from the popular water sports. Reebok Kamikaze II Mid “Letter of Intent”

Reebok is giving Shawn Kemp and University of Kentucky fans a glimpse of what could have been with this “Letter of Intent” colorway for the Kamikaze II Mid. A reference to Kemp’s letter of intent to become a Kentucky Wildcat, this colorway features an upper in UK’s signature white and blue. The upper starts with a blue nubuck base with the signature zigzag pattern in white leather.
