Converse Chuck Taylor “Tokyo/Osaka” Pack Draws Inspiration from Classic ’80s Colorways

Converse is having one of its better years in recent memory in 2017. They’ve famously partnered with Tyler, The Creator, ASAP Nast and, most recently, J.W. Anderson on a gleaming, glitter-inspired collection. That’s not to mention next year they’ll drop the even more coveted OFF WHITE x Converse Chuck Taylor.

Before that takes place, though, Converse is looking to classic ’80s colorways of the Chuck Taylor All Star to inspire its upcoming “Tokyo/Osaka” pack. Consisting of pairs in orange (Tokyo) and teal green (Osaka), both highlight traditional canvas construction atop an off-white rubber midsole lined with black piping. Both of the Japanese cities have their names stamped at the shoes footbed.

The Converse Chuck Taylor All Star ’70s “Tokyo/Osaka” Pack drops on December 15 at Converse Japan online and at participating retailers in Tokyo and Osaka.
