The Great Tim Duncan is leading a San Antonio Spurs team that’s playing like a well-oiled machine, and even if Timmay is too big to rock Crazy Lights night in and night out, here’s a new pair that’d perfectly match SATX’ unique greyscale uniforms. The adidas adiZero Crazy Light 2 in Dark Onyx and Tech Grey with white accents is better suited to slashing players who look to maximize their lightweight advantage with razor sharp lateral cuts. This pair will arrive at select adidas Basketball retailers on Thursday, May 24th, and are already up for pre-order at Eastbay and Foot Locker.

Worn by Patrick Ewing when he was still rocking the Three Stripes, adidas Originals has reissued the Conductor Hi.
Seen here in a white/black look, the high-top basketball kicks see a white leather upper with black accents hitting everything from the lining and leather collar to the Three Stripes branding and Trefoil on the heel. Capping off the look are hits of red on the tongue branding tab and heel.
Retailing for , you can pick these up now from adidas Originals spots like New Jersey’s Packer Shoes.
The adidas ZX 8000 continues its trend of catering to both loud and reserved wearers. Lab green gets a run on an orange accented makeup, while white, scarlet, and black keep it simple on another pair. Both colorways are slated to hit select adidas accounts this July.

The Consortium backed ‘Your Story’ collection from adidas Originals is prepared to some drop some strong retro models from the Three Stripes for its devotees, but that capsule isn’t the be all end all to adidas’ classic models. One of their fan favorite running silhouettes, the adidas Originals ZX 8000, is set to pick up some of the slack this summer with the two pairs pictured here. It’s hard to take a look at the red, white, and black pair and not have company man Derrick Rose come to mind, meanwhile the blue and orange is a bit harder to pin down in terms of inspiration. You might not know this, what with all their attention paid to the youngest-ever NBA MVP, a stunning MTV video starlet and the most flamboyant guest designer doing it today, but adidas has a sincere interest in the sport of table tennis. Three Stripes to this day makes among the world’s very best ping-pong sneakers and paddles (or ‘blades’, as they’re more commonly called by those in the know), and this latest drop from the Originals division is a subtle reminder they’ve been at this for decades. The adidas Originals Tischtennis ‘Olympic Pack’ features Union Jack pennants on the lateral heels, but the more intriguing embroidery might be the brown Stripes that divide the white pair’s side panels.
