Well not really, as these use the vino look pretty sparingly, opting merely for a rosy stripe on the midsole foxing. The Muppets x adidas Originals Campus 2 ‘Fozzie’

For all the revenue they generate in arena ticket and pay per view sales, not a single professional wrestler has managed to secure a sneaker collaboration.  We’ve seen John Cena rocking Air Jordans and Reebok Pumps plenty of times, but could this new adidas Originals Campus II somehow represent Three Stripes collaboration with The Muppets and connect with another form of entertainment so often enjoyed by unquestioning youths?  That depends on if you know that Canadian ring general Chris Jericho named his heavy metal band ‘Fozzy’ in a lawsuit-avoiding tribute to the Jim Henson character who appears on the lateral ankles of these furry-lined Campus 2s.  This look also brings to mind images of the Dunk Low Pro SB ‘Gibson’ modeled after a guitar case, and if you’re still grappling with the choice of whether to grab a pair, click through for more images before you pick them up from Kids Foot Locker.

King on Campus: The 12 Best College Kicks from the LeBron Line

In a matter of hours, the 2011-2012 basketball season will finally start. No, not the NBA; it’s the NCAA’s Midnight Madness that’s bringing hoops back to the hardwood. And while professional stars won’t be able to give us any ball to watch for some time, one has given us (and select college teams) some great kicks built for the best amateurs in the game.

Starting off our list is the first rendition of the Zoom Soldier line for the Buckeyes. The boys from Columbus rocked two colorways of this secondary signature, and the bold red-toed Brons were the start of a long (and still going) relationship between OSU and the Soldier line.

Black Mamba Visits Nike Campus in Zoom Kobe VII

Kobe Bryant’s seventh signature Nike shoe, the Nike Zoom Kobe VII, has been one of, if not the biggest story in the sneaker community this week. We have shown you photo galleries of the “Del Sol” colorway and a “Concord” pair in which many of you positively commented on. The latter color scheme was spotted today on the feet of Kobe Bryant at the Nike campus today. Specifically showed up to the campus in the aforementioned Kobe VIIs, a ‘Black Mamba’ hoodie and black pants. The removable ankle lockdown sleeve has been the most talked about attribute on the Kobe VII, along with the noticeable Flywire cables on the side panels. How does the Kobe VII compare to its three predecessors in your opinion?

Kobe Bryant Visits Nike Campus in Zoom Kobe VII
