Following the introduction of their collaborative Officer Shoes in January, Japan’s NEXUSVII and UK shoemaker George Cox have joined forces again for a collection due to hit retail later this year. Coming in navy and beige colorways this time around, the silhouette features a predominately suede upper paired with a leather toe cap, perorated star detailing, air cushioning and welt construction. Capped off with contrasting white laces, the NEXUSVII x George Cox 2012 Fall Officer Shoes will be available at select retailers for ¥38,640 JPY (approximately $ 483 USD).

Last week the Spotted Pig hosted Gourmet Footwear’s preview event, showcasing some of the latest designs from the innovative line. Revamping some of our old favorites – such as the Quattro Skate S, The Dieci 2 SN, and The 21, Gourmet adds subtle details to the already dope colorways.
Aside from the classic silhouettes, Gourmet introduced a new member to their family – the Gaetano. Crafted from stitch fuse technology, the lightweight sneaker is the most technically advanced of the line. The Nike Air Max ‘Air Attack Pack’ of 2010 brought in five Air Max 1 bangers in tonal uppers, funky materials, and sleek colorways. This upcoming Black/Blue release can easily join that set as it features an all-black-everything vibe with mesh and synthetic suede on the upper and just the right hints of blue on the rear portion of the outsole and the uppermost lace eyelets. How did a random Nike runner end up being one of the most exciting new designs for 2012? The super comfy pliable mesh upper is a big part, pair that with clean and simple colorblocking and a tiny price tag for a modern Swoosh model and you’ve pretty much got it. We’re speaking of the Nike Roshe Run, a model set to be updated with an ACG looking iteration for Fall 2012 in the form of the Nike Roshe Run Trail. Our first shots here show off some palettes that definitely lean more towards the ACG side of things, along with an all black that finishes that the black and white pair of the originals started. Coming this Fall from New Balance is the latest version of the M564 trail shoe.
Featuring a grey nubuck upper with black accents, the kicks sit atop a rugged black rubber outsole and feature a unique lacing strap for support and are finished off with blue rope laces and yellow hits on the tongue branding.
Look for the kicks to hit retailers later this year.

New Balance will re-introduce their iconic H710 for Fall 2012. The GORE-TEX lined shoe was first made famous when Lou Whittaker wore the shoe on his way to the top of the North Col of Mt. Everest in 1984. The nubuck upper and nylon mesh are available in dark grey and blue in September at Overkill.
Now we have a look at some upcoming colorways of the New Balance 1500.
Constructed in the UK, these premium Flimby-made kicks are set to drop in purple and green suede colorways alongside black, grey and blue leather looks, each with “Made In England” tongue branding and the usual 1500 details.
All five of the kicks seen here are set to begin hitting shops like Berlin’s Overkill in September.
Paul Van Doren’s namesake sneaker company has risen from humble beginnings in 1977 and plenty of hurdles along the way to become the world’s top skateboarding brand, and during this 35th anniversary year, Off the Wall celebrates their founder with a pack that’s even more connected to his name. The Vans Van Doren Series re-issues a run of classic prints from the ’80s and ’90s as seen on the ever-popular silhouettes that’s kept this brand popular for so long. After dropping a teaser image back in April, Vans now presents a complete look at their upcoming Fall 2012 Van Doren Collection.
Featuring the Sk8-Hi, Era and Slip-On, each silhouette comes with original “Van Doren” heel tab branding while the kicks come draped in stonewashed canvas uppers decked out in graphic prints from the brand’s archives.
Look for the collection to land at retailers in late Summer/early Fall.
