Forward-thinking footwear label Android Homme advances an intriguing silhouette model for Fall 2012 courtesy of its newest Brogue Hiker. Amalgamating the sensibilities of traditional hiker boots and brogue shoes the fusion resulted in a streamlined and slimmer profile. The new option is constructed out of a pure leather material featuring a wingtip-styled toecap with custom Android Homme decorative perforation. Boasting lightweight EVA midsole for added cushioning, the shoe rounds out with welded metal D-ring eyelets, leather laces and a rugged rubber outsole. The Fall 2012 Brogue Hiker is slated to arrive underneath the label’s premium “Made in Italy” range of product – a tier of the already premium label that aims to exemplify the heightened Italian craftsmanship and material preferences. Retailing for $ 450 USD, the Camo/Glass colorway will be made available through select Android Homme stockists closer to the seasonal delivery.

For many, Vans is the very definition of California cool, so it’s come as no great surprise that their OTW Collection of skate-inspired lifestyle sneakers is thriving. This preview of what’s to come in Q3 reveals a varied range of styles and one new design, all of which have a decidedly low-key feel. Take for instance the cracked camouflage on the Vans OTW Alomar and Ludlow pictured above: it’s a relatively busy print, but earthy tones on these sleek silhouettes keeps things chill rather than militant. Speaking of military-inspired fare, there’s a sharp new rendition of the Howell desert boot that evokes images of classic Clarks Originals releases with a tweed toe meeting rich brown leather on the rear. This same look is darkened and applied to the Pritchard lowtop, which turns out to be the only established model to have two pairs in this preview. The other model you’ll see twice in images after the jump is a brand new, as yet unnamed boot that allows for some interesting blocking possibilities. In addition to becoming the next creative director for American heritage label Filson, designer Richard Chai will also take a collaborative role in creating a capsule collection with footwear maker Palladium. Fashioned from Palladium Pampa Hi and Pampa Tactical, signature editions with roots back when Palladium was the supplier for French Foreign Legion. Each appointed with premium fabrics, such as felted wool and corduroy, thus inline with Chai’s “urban nomad” design theme for his Fall/Winter 2012 Collection. Both are set to be available in October 2012 but will be seen on the runway tomorrow, February 9th, as Chai presents his collection for New York Fashion Week.
The Vans Chukka Del Barco is making a case for becoming one of, if not, the most popular chukka sneakers in the market today. It recently got tapped for inclusion in a Wool Pack; but now it functions as the base for a new Vans silhouette. Pictured here is the Vans California Chukka Del Barco Duck, where the Chukka Del Barco model is complemented by a duck style midfoot. Expect these to drop during the next Fall sneaker season, giving you a few months to decide how you feel about this creation.

We just got these images of the Oliver Clark Fall 2012 Collection of Footwear. From what we can see in the images they are of the same handmade quality they stand by. The Boot is Goodyear welted and has Nappa lined patent leather with wood sole painted black. It comes with a set of primary color laces to make things interesting. A native of Utah, Oliver Clark was raised in alpine, a suburb of Salt Lake City.
At the age of 18, Oliver Clark moved to nyc to attend f.I.T. Previous to his freshman year Oliver Clark had begun his first small label Zuriick with musician/friend and design partner Mike McCaleb ( who is responsible for current Zuriick and its growth ) . Zuriick was started as an over simplified, affordable canvas footwear line In 2006, at the age of 20 he began working as a graphic, product, and accessory designer at Marc Jacobs. He specialized in designing the Jacobs by Marc Jacobs line of specialty items and large window displays seen internationally. After 3 years he left Marc Jacobs to dedicate more time focusing on Zuriick, which sold in over 50 stores internationally. In 2010 he left Zuriick to create his first full contemporary collection “Oliver Clark”. He currently lives in Brooklyn new york.

On one hand, its design went with a fashionable approach. On the other, it kept inline with an utilitarian execution. The result, the new Creative Recreation Antonello. First previewed at last week’s PROJECT New York trade show, the Antonello features a ballistic nylon upper inter-meshed with supple tumbled leather. While there are obvious influences from mountaineering footwear, such as D-ring eyelets and padded ankle collar, the Antonello still retains a hint of running/lifestyle design like its articulated EVA sole. Part of Creative Recreation’s Fall 2012 Collection, expect the Antonello to drop right after summer.

This Fall, two more colorways of the Vapor Tour 9 will release – an Olympic-esque colorway of Obsidian and Red and another White/University Blue. Berlin’s Bright Tradeshow recently kicked off, with Nike SB presenting the first look at their Fall 2012 collection.
Using the slogan “Labor Lunarlon”, the brand demonstrated it’s push of Lunarlon cushioning technology to the forefront, showing off everything from the P-Rod V to the Koston One, updated SB Blazer and even the new Challenge Court silhouette. In addition to the Lunar-based shoes was the usual array of Dunks, seen in Lows, Highs and strapped and strapless Mids.
Finally, as many have been speculating, Nike SB is set for a bit of a reshuffling for this year, its 10th anniversary. As a result, you will notice that the signature sneakers like the Kostons and P-Rods will no longer sport “Nike SB” branding and will instead feature generic “Nike” and Swoosh branding (much in the way that LeBron and Kobe basketball kicks do not sport any kind of “Nike Basketball” branding). However, shoes like the Dunks and Blazers will retain their SB branding in order to differentiate them from their non-SB originals.

The Nike SB Omar Salazar LR is set to return this Fall with a new two-tone look.
The purple kicks sport a suede toebox alongside a canvas midfoot panel, while the heel features a dark grey suede. A grey Swoosh, white midsole and drop-in Lunarlon sockliner complete the shoe.
Look for this new two-tone purple and grey Omar Salazar signature to drop at Nike SB accounts in Fall 2012.
