CLOT x adidas x Kazuki – KZKLOT Superstar 80′s | US Release Info
adidas Superstar 80s have had its fair share of collaborations in the past yet these pairs conceived by Kazuki Kuraishi, CLOT and adidas Originals are undoubtedly unique. What appears to be plain white sneakers with money green details, close inspection will reveal that the uppers are in fact made from highly breathable mesh material. Further more the off white colored shell toes and soles add to the vintage aesthetics. Gold foil trefoil logo is embossed on the heel and tongue, with the 3-Stripes outlined in gold as well. These sneakers will be exclusively available at all UNDFTD stores in US from Saturday, April 30th.

CLOT x Kazuki x adidas Originals KZKLOT Superstar 80s
Last year’s black Clot x Kazuki x adidas Originals kzkLOT Superstar 80s ‘Breathe’ held the title of most breathable shelltoes, but they’ll be forced to share the crown now with this new colorway slated to drop in the coming months. Check out the latest KZKLOT Superstar 80s, this time done in the green-on-white palette that worked so well for the Rod Laver signature among other Three Stripes heritage models. They’re done almost entirely in mesh for an airy and lightweight feel and readers lucky enough to be in the right place at the right time will find these available now at select adidas Originals retailers throughout Asia, plus the Number6 and Number74 flagships in London and Berlin, respectively.

Felicity x adidas Originals x Kazuki Kuraishi – adidas Originals by Originals Spring/Summer 2011 Collection Lookbook
In this, the final issue of Felicity, Japanese designer Kazuki Kuraishi looked at the very origin of his adidas Originals by Originals initiative by embarking a personal journey to see 9 of his favorite British creative types. A voyage of self discovery, each of the 9, like graffiti artist Cyclops and designer Kenneth Mackenzie, have contributed indirectly as Kuraishi’s muses. Meanwhile, friends like Stone Roses former frontman Ian Brown, served as mentor to the young designer. Through the span of interviews and photos, readers get the opportunity to see a range of upcoming merchandise from adidas Originals by Originals Spring/Summer 2011 Collection. Felicity 004, the mook series’ last issue is currently available at bookstore and magazine stands.

Nicknamed “the flip” by some who saw it during preview, the kzkLOT Superstar 80′s in White is just that, a reversal of the original all-black model launched launched last Spring. With slivers of green and gold overtones, the kzkLOT Superstar 80′s White is made mostly from white mesh, both lightweight and superbly breathable. Along side adidas Originals Trefoil logo, a unique kzkLOT branding highlights the collaboration between designer Kazuki Kurashi, adidas Originals, and CLOT of Hong Kong. Set to be available in the coming weeks at select adidas Originals retailers around Asia, No.6 adidas specialty store in London and No.74 in Berlin.

Pictured here is a ZX Mocc from that very line in a dark cinder color base with white, black and red accents throughout. Kazuki Kuraishi’s work for adidas Originals has resulted in a mixed bag of designs and styles. For example, his recent Stan Smiths are simple and easy to rock. His new ZX Mocc? Not so much. Nevertheless, the moccasin-sneaker deserves respect and is a great, original take on the classic ZX chassis. Rich Dark Cinder suede covers the quarter panel and woven toe box, while white leather wraps around the backside of the heel. Pictured here is the adidas Originals by Originals Kazuki Stan Smith in two different colorways. One colorway comes with a white leather base, select gold accents, metal eyelets and a worn midsole. The second colorway differs only by having a black leather base along the upper; and, both pairs include a safari-like print along the heel. Each is available for purchase now at the going rate of 0.

Kazuki x adidas Originals Plants – White | Available
Kazuki Kuarishi wasn’t billed as the creative mind behind 2009′s adidas Originals Plant Pack but it did earn him an ObyO capsule and with this latest release, credit is given where it’s due. The Kazuki x adidas Originals Plant is a simple lowtop silhouette that vaguely resembles the Converse Chuck Taylor with its rubber-capped toe, but the rosey Trefoil on its heels is distinctly Three Stripes. This pair flips the script on the just released black edition’s colorway, opting for all white with a red foxing band plus KZK’s signature striped strap on the heel. Kazuki x adidas Originals ZX Mocc KZK – Dark Cinder
Having seen the lighter edition just hit retail, it’s time for the darker brown edition of Kazuki Kuarishi’s adidas Originals ZX Moc to hit store shelves. These differ from the sandy joints with their use of a red tartan plaid on the heels, but the rest remains the same. You get classic creeper shoe toe and eyelet design paired with a ZX-series running sole whose trademark Dellinger web has been stretched into a section of suede on the side panels.
