After releasing in small helpings in 2011, the Nike Zoom Huarache TR Mid 2 is poised to make a much larger return with a steady stream of new releases and colorways. The latest of the Zoom Huarache TR Mid 2 is this Black/Varsity Maize colorway, which captures that LIVESTRONG and Black Mamba theme with its simple two-toned combo of colors. With the NCAA Football season now in the books, another ‘Pro Combat Pack‘ seems unlikely, but with Nike taking over NFL outfitting rights at the start of the 2012 NFL season, who knows what may release from now until the Fall? We’ve got some extra angles of this new colorway for you below so take a look and get yours now from steptorun on eBay.

The black and maize ‘Iowa’/’Wu-Tang’ colorway is one of the Nike Dunk High‘s best loved looks, and one that we see pop up every so often in a new set of materials. This latest pair utilizes the same exact blocking pattern as a pair we showed you on Boxing Day right down to the yellow tumbled leather overlay, but these end up with an entirely different result thanks to white in place of black on the underlay , tongue/laces and midsole. It’s kind of like when the LIVESTRONG capsule started to expand its look, but before the red-infused Radio Shack looks were forced in; in other words, a welcome change on an established favorite. Check them out in greater detail after the jump and let us know which of this spring’s BTTYS-blocked Dunk Highs looks best to you. via Sneaker Freaker

Commonly known as Kobe Bryant first signature footwear with Nike after his departure with adidas, the Nike Zoom Huarache 2K4 is making a substantial presence in Nike’s Summer 2012 product line. Among the four known colorways set to launch the next few months is this Black-Varsity Maize edition. Relatively unchanged from the very first edition designed by Eric Avar, the current Creative Director of Nike Innovation Kitchen, with exception of updated materials. It certainly will be on the top of many sneakerheads’ wish list this year. via: MarqueeSole

For the younger demographic of the Black Mamba faithful – did you know that the Nike Zoom Huarache 2k4 was supposed to be his first signature shoe? Timing’s everything and for Nike to put out a sig shoe bearing Kobe’s name wasn’t exactly the best move at the time, but Kobe still rocked the super-comfy Zoom Huarache 2k4 with pride. It wasn’t until 2006 that we would see the first official Nike Kobe shoe, but Kobe historians often point to the H2K4 (considered to be one of the greatest Nike basketball products of all-time) as the official start to the Kobe legacy. Sneaker News brought good fortune to our readers when we reported the news of the re-release of the Zoom Huarache 2k4, and here we have a detailed look at a Black/Varsity Maize colorway that Kobe could definitely rock right now – although the superstitious would rather Kobe not change up his routine because he’s going nuts on the court right now. Check out the detailed angles below and let us know what you think of the colorway, and let us know if you’d like to see Kobe rock the Huarache 2k4 this season! via MarqueeSole.

The black and yellow look is one of those standby colorways for the Nike Dunk High, a combo that we’ve seen again and again which continues to be fresh thanks to minimal variations on the theme. The most sought after of those variations is no doubt the ultra limited Wu-Tang version, but much more widely owned and beloved were the original Goldenrods void of any Killa Beez tie-in. Here’s another pair to add to the running, an upcoming 2012 drop that sees the varsity maize applied to a nice tumbled leather. Also of note is the blank that runs down the the midsole, making the look more complete than previous version which allowed a little white into the mix. You’ve never had a true New York City experience until you’ve almost been run over by a yellow taxi cab. This upcoming colorway of the Jordan Spiz’ike has stirred up quite a debate on the Sneaker News comments corner, regarding the ‘Bordeaux’ moniker that’s been attached to the shoe. Truth is, these are more ‘Doernbecher’ than ‘Bordeaux’, as it features quite a hodge podge of tones – Varsity Maize, Sapphire Blue, Varsity Red, and a bright Green on top of the multiple hues of grey. However, this upcoming release holds no bearing on either the famed OG Air Jordan VII colorway or the children’s hospital that Nike has collaborated with for several years, but instead spearheads the Jordan Spiz’ike movement for 2012 while leading to the next Spike Lee-centric hybrid – the Jordan Son Of Mars. We’ve got a new set of detailed images for you below, so take a look and stick with Sneaker News for more Jordan Brand 2012 release information and updates. via RMK.
