Last summer, skateboard legend Lance Mountain teamed up with Nike SB to release a black suede Blazer Mid. Almost a year later, the two are reuniting on another Blazer collaboration, though this time around the black suede aesthetic is replaced by a much brighter aesthetic. The mid-top takes on a bright blue shade, rendered in a vintage finish across the all-suede upper. A white leather Swoosh and floral heel embroidery round out the details. You can pre-order them now at Rock City Kicks, with the release date set for July 10th.

COMME des GARÇONS Previews Nike Presto Collab at Paris Fashion Week

Japanese fashion designer, Rei Kawakubo, and her label, COMME des GARÇONS, continue its long tenured partnership with Nike as seen through their spring/summer 2019 Paris Fashion Week presentation.

Harkening back to 2002 and the Nike Presto Foot Tent, CDG’s latest collaboration with Nike is a Presto of a new variety. A complete overhaul from the shoe in its original form, a shroud like structure encases the upper while also featuring a woven center. The shoe’s original sock-like aesthetic remains in tact through a varied form, while a slightly visible cord beneath the midfoot seems to be holding things in place.

There’s no word on if this COMME des GARÇONS x Nike Presto will release as it’s seen here during the spring/summer 2019 season.

Nike React Element Family Adds a New Style

Already being heralded as one of the best new sneakers of the year, Nike’s React Element 87 has garnered such praise without even first releasing worldwide. Available in certain markets overseas, Stateside residents looking to get their hands on the highly touted React cushioned sneaker continue will have to wait until July.

Nike, though, isn’t waiting on anything or anyone. With that we’re speaking to new iterations of the React Element — namely this one that carries an 55 moniker.

Unlike the previously mentioned React Element 87, the React Element 55 does much of what its counterpart achieves yet without the translucent upper. A new textile outfits the upper while the translucent notations also seen on the outsole of the 87 don’t appear present on the 55.

The summer release ’87 will be followed by the Nike React Element 55 later this holiday season.

Blue Swoosh branding and a “KD” black logo completes the look of this version of the KD 11.

Image via: Getty

Image via: Getty

At Paris Fashion Week, Jun Takahashi seemed to explore tribalism through his  Spring/Summer 2019 UNDERCOVER show. The models were grouped into different gangs, each with its own distinct aesthetic and soundtrack. For select members, the finishing touch on their ensemble was a collaborative Nike sneaker, some of which appeared to be all new models, while others blended archive silhouettes with contemporary details. The Chmielewski brothers, co-founders of Canadian retailer HAVEN, were in Paris and shared some of the kicks on social media. Take a look below.

Craig Green Debuts His Take on the Nike React Element 87

On the low, the Nike React Element 87 might be the most bubbling shoe on the scene.

Adding to the esteem, designer Craig Green has debuted his take on the fashionable runner and it doesn’t disappoint. Conjuring comparisons to Tom Sach’s Mars Yard sneaker, the shoes take on a collage construction with layers of fabric adding dimension to the design while still proving wearable.

Whether or not these are slated to hit retail is unknown, but see what they’re all about in the IG shots below.
