If you’ve been paying attention to the upcoming Air Jordan releases, this colorway should look at bit familiar. You’ll recall the sky blue look and creamsicle orange bottoms from this Jordan Spiz’ike, and now it looks like the bright ‘Do the Right Thing’ looking combo is making the move over to the Air Jordan 1 Phat as well. The padded update of the Air Jordan 1 sees a liberal application of patent leather, with the glossy look dominating the upper together with a nice mesh finish. With a black Vac Tech upper and midsole working its way around the shoe, safety orange and purple are added to the midsole, heel tab and Air unit. This throwback colorway incorporates Charles’ days in Phoenix as a Sun while the initial release represented his days in Philly.
Maybe next up we will see a Houston colorway… either way, you can pick these up now over at Finish Line.

Nike All Conditions Gear took advantage of the momentum created by 2010′s Lunar MacLeay and parlayed that into what’s gotta be the best variety of boots since the golden era, and perhaps in the entire history of the Swoosh’s outdoor division. Models like the Zoom Meriwether, Lava Dunk High and Air Max Conquer ACG have the kind of visual appeal that means you can remain stylish even when the weather threatens your favorite sneakers, this latest release exactly the kind of thing you want working for you when the snow hits the fan. The Nike ACG Manoa is perhaps the simplest execution of all of ACG’s current boot lineup, its smooth, sweeping lines vaguely similar to the classic Goadome, but without any of the visible Max Air cushioning in its soles. This olive green edition adds black and bright orange accents to nail that hunter vibe, and they’re available now at select Nike Sportswear retailers like Oneness.

Given their moniker, it’s unavoidable that any new colorway of the Air Jordan Spiz’ike prominently featuring blue or orange evokes a New York Knicks feel. The recent more outright Knicks pack solidified that notion, and it’s hard to look at the above pictured university blue version and not imagine that it would have fit right in alongside those Knickerbocker tributes. This drop again utilizes the icy sole that we don’t get too often on the Spiz’ike, with the vibrant orange soda look showing up on the bottoms. Pair that with the swirling shades of the tonal blue upper come in a bit lighter than the blue pair from the aforementioned pack and you’ve got more of a laid back feel than last time around. Follow us after the jump to get the full view and stick with us for release info on these Spiz’ikes. via RMK

The best team in the NBA is located in a) Miami or b) Oklahoma City. Answering that question shouldn’t yield any deduction in points, because while Miami’s Big Three is currently tearing it up, the Durant-led Thunder are causing their own mayhem by way of blowouts and buzzer-beating daggers. The scary part about Kevin Durant is that he just keeps getting better and better. Virtually unguardable and exceedingly humble, Durant’s chemistry both internal and outward have him winning multiple championships when it’s all said and done, and we could possibly remember the Nike Zoom KD IV as KD’s first Championship shoe. Does he have what it takes to do it all during this shortened (but arguably more arduous) season? Check out more images of the Black/Team Orange alternate ‘Away’ joints below and let us know what you think. via rmk.
