The Weaver Boots from Clarks was originally released way back in the late 70’s and it served as the prelude to the now famous Wallabee model. atmos have decided to tweak this classic silhouette and appropriate it for today’s market. Moccasin stitching featured on the toe panels give it an unique front view and the black star shaped eyelets fuses classic design with the pop aesthetics of atmos. The gray upper sections use fabric sourced from Harris Tweed and it is matched flawlessly to the light brown leather heel panel. For comfort crepe soles are used in dark tinted color and the insoles are atmos blue color to suggest the collaboration in a subtle manner. This pair is scheduled for release around mid December and atmos online store is currently taking pre-orders right now.

adidas Originals and atmos get a little toxic, and light it up like it’s dynamite with a new collaborative Superstar 80s. While the Superstar 80s is indeed one of collaborators’ favorite canvases, the design of the Superstar 80s renders it slightly more challenging to refresh than say, the Forum Mid. However, atmos took on the task and is out to shock with a new opulent mahogany snake skin upper, and doesn’t stop at just that– the details, lie under the black light. The new atoms exclusive G-SNK II Superstar 80s will glow in the dark! With clean white soles and shell toes, these are the three-stripes perfect for the day with just a bit of subtle wildness, but goes all out at night. If you are shy, just stay away from the black light. These will be available at rakuten for pre-order starting November 24, and will deliver at the end of December.

Ronnie Fieg may have just scored a perfect 10 on his Weaver Boot project with Clarks Originals, but that wasn’t all the Queens-born and raised footwear savant had in store for the heritage footwear company. Today Ronnie Fieg released images of a Desert Boot that he reworked for Clarks Originals, also part of the Saddle Collection. Fieg interprets three versions of the Desert Boot, each in a beautifully muted tone of vegetable-tanned saddle leather. The man clearly respects the perfection of the original – he doesn’t pimp out or pervert the Desert Boot (which is several decades older than the 27 year old designer). These boots aren’t going to “snap necks,” but they are going to provoke second and third looks for years – and as with all Desert Boots, these are sure to age exceedingly well. Hiking goes a long way this year, and the outdoor craze is still heating up in the fashion world, and sneakers continue to get revamped with outdoor and hiking influences. While some attempts to render kicks into hiking boots or vice versa have been rather trite, the new adidas Originals Top Ten High does it quite winningly with a simple tweak in colorway, eyelets, trimming and laces. The new season’s classic Top Ten Hi now looks more like a hiking sneaker than the basketball shoes they were born to be. it now comes in two fall-perfect colorways, Mahogany and Sand. The Sand version features a mix of brown suede, leather and canvas upper, with hiking rope laces and wheat colored trimming on tongue and metal eyelets to complete the tough outdoor look. Meanwhile, the Mahogany colorway is slightly less obvious in the hiking influence, but the deep red shade works nicely with off-white laces and grey trimming. Attention everyone, one of the key adidas Originals classics will be getting a rather significant makeover next season. For Spring/Summer 2011, the Stan Smith will no longer be just a vintage tennis classic, perfect for strolling the streets with, but one fit for prowling the city at night. The Stan Smith 80s Lux is given an opulent redress with a textured black and silver “stingray” upper, a departure from the fabric of smooth monochromatic leather we are used to, and a tough update by replacing regular eyelets with hiking-shoe’s favorite D-Ring. Tough, casual and luxurious all rolls into one in the new Stan Smith, and these are set to drop in March for the night crawlers of the streets. via: glltn

Latest from the adidas Originals Fall/Winter 2010 collection is the Forum Lo and Mid styles in what they call the Washed Pack. The reason why it is named this way is because the sneakers look washed out. Three materials consist of the uppers and the canvas, nylon and leather all play a part in making the washed out aesthetics. Each pair is stitched and glued with a beige/white sole that contrast the tonal uppers. Two Lo versions come in Green Beach and Silver colors while the Mid versions come in Cardinal, Orange and Pool.
