A celebration not only of originality, but individualism, character, talents, and more… juxtaposed against a backdrop where tolerance, respect, and inclusion permitted those unique traits to thrive. In an expression of these ideals, adidas Originals embarked on a massive casting call this past August on the street of Paris for its Fall/Winter 2010 marketing campaign. The result, an interactive stop-motion film which not only highlighted the products, but everyday Parisians who took part. In between, adidas Originals brand ambassadors, everyone from footballer Andre-Pierre Gignac, artist Féfé and Youssoupha, to television personality Louise Ekland and comedian Daphné Chollet, made appearances with their own styles. So celebrate life and its myriad of originality. Enjoy!

Foot prints, Snuggles bears, poker chips, floral overall, skeletons, leopard print and sneaker heels sums up another crazy happy collection from Jeremy Scott for his Spring/Summer 2011 collection for adidas Originals by Originals Jeremy Scott. A few weeks after Scott had debuted his eponymous collection at New York Fashion Week, fashion’s delirious designer, Scott showcased his work with adidas Originals at the Paris showroom again. Some prints that are found on other Scott’s work such as the tire tracks for Longchamp has clearly carried over to his work with adidas Originals as well, but in form of footprints (after all, it would be appropriate to pay an ode to sneakers). In terms of kicks, it is quite affirmed that the pink and brown teddy bear sneakers will be hitting racks next season, and we have spotted new three-striped sneaker heels for girls, and also flats. This has been a year that Jordan Brand has focused on a few famous releases from the storied line of sneakers, including the Air Jordan II (2), which has seen numerous releases. These vibrant releases from the House of Hoops in Paris have been deemed the “Candy Pack”. While the candy theme is evident, one could easily interpret this as the dynasty pack, as the colorways of the Celtics, Bulls, and Lakers (ok, this may be a stretch without the purple) aren’t as whimsical as they first seem. Jordan purists can certainly appreciate the Red and Black model, as it’s a nice flip of the colorways that Jordan wore in his younger years. These release on October 20th in Paris, you can be among the first to rock these.
