Prada – Denim Lace-Up Shoes
In addition to the Prada – Wingtip Derby Sneakers, the luxury label releases more footwear for their Spring 2012 line with these denim lace-ups. The shoes feature a denim upper and sits on top a thick sole which consists of a leather, cord espadrille combination.

The Supreme x VANS MC Shoes ring in the Spring season through vivid colors. Offered in bold red, blue, white and black, the shoes stay the same from their previous release. Constructed with premium suede nubuck upper, the shoes feature vulcanized waffle outsole and a 3M reflective tongue with the word “Supreme” done in Mike Carroll’s writing.

izzue x Dr. Martens – 1461 Lace-Up Shoes
Hong Kong based fashion label, izzue, which is actually pronounced as “issue” teams up with British based footwear label, Dr. Martens. Working on a Spring release, they worked on the classic 1461 lace up shoe and produced two colorways for it. Kept really simple, the shoe comes in two tone variations of either a white upper with a navy sole or a navy upper with a white sole.

Prada‘s runway shows have lately displayed Miuccia Prada’s penchant for combining sleek and elegant designs with eccentric accents and colors, providing a touch of character and whimsy to classic menswear looks. That aesthetic extends down to the brand’s footwear, highlighted by these lace-up oxfords. Featuring traditional wingtip detailing, the first pair comes in a navy brushed leather build with a chunky blue and black striped sole, giving a bit of post-punk heft to the staid gentleman’s brogue. The second pair, featuring a toe-capped blue denim construction, has a similarly substantial sole, but this time it’s wrapped in a corded sole evoking the look and feel of an espadrille. Both lace-up styles are available now through Prada’s online store.

Take a look at the latest shoe release from Veja Mediterranean for Spring 2012. A mix between a boat shoe and sneakers, these shoes are made out of nubuck and created with ecological materials. The Leather and laces are created without chromium while the sole and the rubber were derived from rubber trees located in the Amazon. Available in 3 color combinations: Camel/Auburn, Geranium/Navy and Navy/Auburn.

Managing to infuse a level of creative ingenuity into an oft-used silhouette, Burberry Prorsum has just released a new Woven Top Cork Sole Leather Shoe for its Spring/Summer 2012. A few elements stand out among the new iteration, primarily the inclusion of a cork foundation that cleanly delineates the outsole from the tumbled brown leather upper. Adding a further degree of character to the release, Burberry Prorsum draped a patterned navajo print across the toebox within the confines of an expertly stitched moc leather toe. The pair is rounded out by contrasting tan laces and is now available through MR PORTER for a retail of £450 GBP (approximately $ 708 USD).

In 2005, Red Wing Shoes celebrated its centennial anniversary by crafting a size 638 ½ D (US) boot which resides in their flagship Red Wing Shoe Store in Red Wing, Minnesota. Aside from being blown-up in scale, the World’s Largest Boot was built using the very same design and materials used to build a traditional Red Wing 877. Measuring 16 feet high and 20 feet long, the boot destroys the largest shoe previously made for someone by the American icon, a 22, by a mere 616.5 sizes. Ultimately, it took 1,200 feet of rope to sew it all together, 300 pounds of adhesive, and 80 cowhides to cover, but the boot serves as a testament to the craftsmanship and unmistakable quality of Red Wing footwear regardless of size. Made expressly for Très Bien Shop in Malmö, Sweden, the Brown Waxy Wholecut Shoes by designer Mark McNairy is a contemporary take on an old classic derby shoes. Crafted in England, McNairy sought to have the finest materials as base. The deep burgundy leather is partly waxed for some resistance against the elements while a Goodyear welted crepe sole, in natural gum rubber, provides the wearer with thorough comfort.
