A new month coming up means a new set of footwear releases from Converse Skateboarding, and perhaps in acknowledgement of the shortest month of the year, CONS is stripping away a bit of the extra detailing on one of their staples. The CONS Sea Star LS Ox strips out the traditional deck shoe-style heel lace and instead keeps the docksider sprit in its silhouette, much the way the vast majority of Zoom Stefan Janoskis have flown off Nike SB store shelves. Blue and white editions join new Trapasso Ox and CTS Ox lowtops in grey suedes, while a black CTS LS Ox shows off a slight variation on the immortal Chuck Taylor lowtop’s lines. Click through to see all five pairs and pick up your selection(s) today from Premier.

When we first gave you a look at the adidas Skateboarding Ciero, the resulting reaction seem to point at a piqued level of interest for adidas’ take on action-sports sneakers. As promised these have shown up in the first quarter, with the first colorway you’ve got a chance to snag being this classic black and white combo. The black stripe, white body look long associated with the adidas Originals Superstar is updated here with some grey suede paneling thrown in the mix, as well as the obvious gum sole look on bottom. Follow us after the jump for a better view of the adidas Skateboarding Ciero, which is available now at Premier. Also, let us know in the comments if you’ll be lacing up in these any time soon.

Berlin’s Bright Tradeshow recently kicked off, with Nike SB presenting the first look at their Fall 2012 collection.
Using the slogan “Labor Lunarlon”, the brand demonstrated it’s push of Lunarlon cushioning technology to the forefront, showing off everything from the P-Rod V to the Koston One, updated SB Blazer and even the new Challenge Court silhouette. In addition to the Lunar-based shoes was the usual array of Dunks, seen in Lows, Highs and strapped and strapless Mids.
Finally, as many have been speculating, Nike SB is set for a bit of a reshuffling for this year, its 10th anniversary. As a result, you will notice that the signature sneakers like the Kostons and P-Rods will no longer sport “Nike SB” branding and will instead feature generic “Nike” and Swoosh branding (much in the way that LeBron and Kobe basketball kicks do not sport any kind of “Nike Basketball” branding). However, shoes like the Dunks and Blazers will retain their SB branding in order to differentiate them from their non-SB originals.
Take a look at some images from the Bright booth and stay tuned for more from Nike SB throughout 2012.

adidas Skateboarding’s French rep Lucas Puig just got his first colorway of the Skate lowtop released just before Christmas and should see his Rod Laver Skate drop shortly, and already Three Stripes is already moving to suit up the former Lakai rider in his own signature model. And from the early rumblings in and around the adi skate team, the adidas Lucas Pro is shaping up to be a strong new regular when it hits retailers this summer. The thin cupsole gives vulc-like advantages while still providing cushioning in the EVA midsole, and they come right out of the box fairly flexible and ready to skate. The adidas Skateboarding line continues to reach out to the who’s who of wood pushers to curate their growing collection, the latest from which is a build of the adidas adiEase by Roger. The sleek sneaker has a bit of a DIY feel thanks to the bare bones, sketched out graphics on the insole and tongue, a little throwback to the days spent customizing your sneakers with nothing but a sharpie. Coming in a not-quite-bred colorway thanks to the darker shade of cardinal and the grey suede on the uppers, this collabo model from adidas is a good look if you’re on the prowl for a nice Three Stripes model to skate in. Hit the jump for the full look and grab these now from spots like DQM.

We already saw the Swoosh do the wine colored kicks this year, so is the adidas Skateboarding line trying to play catch up here? Well not really, as these use the vino look pretty sparingly, opting merely for a rosy stripe on the midsole foxing. Besides this little splash of color, the adidas Skateboarding Campus Vulc Mid keeps things pretty neutral with the khaki suede on top. Astute readers will notice the bonus of a leather tongue, a deviation in the typical material selection that doesn’t pop up too often. Follow us after the jump to get the full look, and grab the adidas Campus Vulc Mid now from Premier.

Around these parts, the lion’s share of retro signature sneakers that pop up bear the names of basketball’s elite. A bit of an anomaly in that category is the adidas Rod Laver, a low-top sneaker made for the tennis master of the same name that made its debut long before anyone wanted to be like Mike. Having since been reinvented a handful of times, the latest version of the shoe comes from the adidas Skateboarding division. This particular model was done up by team rider Dennis Busenitz, whose name pops up on the heel section of the midsole and the unique tongue tag. Busenitz keeps the colorway pretty straightforward, with a smooth black suede paired up with contrastive white stitching. Continue reading for the full look and let us know what you think of the latest from adidas Skateboarding. Just when you think the 2011 season is a wrap, adidas Skateboarding drops five new sneakers for you to set your sights on. Including the Campus Hi in a light wine colorway and 4 lows, the Busenitz, Skate, Campus Vulc and Rod Laver Vin Salas, adidas Skateboarding hopes to kick off the new year right.
The Samba-inspired Skate arrives in Black/Run White suede, but lacks the gum-sole of the Run White/Satellite Blue Busenitz. The Campus Vulc is the quiet star of the group, constructed of a Dark Cinnamon suede with a touch of light blue and white on the tongue and heel tab representing the Trefoil logo. Rounding out the group is the new Rod Laver Vin, which aside from its white volcanized mid-sole, leather heel tab and the speck of red of the third eyelet, is constructed of a Noble Green suede. Check out all five pairs in more detail after the jump and contact DQM to get your hands on them.
