If you’ve been paying attention to the upcoming Air Jordan releases, this colorway should look at bit familiar. You’ll recall the sky blue look and creamsicle orange bottoms from this Jordan Spiz’ike, and now it looks like the bright ‘Do the Right Thing’ looking combo is making the move over to the Air Jordan 1 Phat as well. The padded update of the Air Jordan 1 sees a liberal application of patent leather, with the glossy look dominating the upper together with a nice mesh finish. Follow us after the jump for some extra shots of the Air Jordan 1 Phat in blue and orange and stick with Sneaker News for release info. via taobao

Quietly one of the more strongly desired retro releases in recent memory, the Nike Air Diamond Turf II is back to satisfy fans who might be feeling almost as let down as Brandon Spikes today. We’ve got seven months before the next NFL preseason kicks off, but in the meantime you can celebrate the career of Hall of Famer Deion Sanders, who won his first Super Bowl with the San Francisco 49ers almost two decades ago. This San Fran-friendly colorup is an OG and will be followed later this year by a bolder mostly-red design with the same inspiration; would you rather have the more ostentatious version or stick with this original design? These Diamond Turf II’s will hit NikeStore this Wednesday, February 8th, but you can grab them already from Nike Sportswear retailers like Concepts, or get yours right now on eBay.

Though its application isn’t as consistent as, say, a Jumpman on Air Jordan Retros, a fairly significant portion of classic designs from Nike Sportswear come with the classic orange Swoosh on their tongue tags. Historically, this has often indicated pre-yellowed VNTG releases, but the vulcanized soles on this new Nike Tennis Classic AC ND are clearly far too pristine to have gotten the oxidized touch. But one thing they are borrowing from the good old days is a colorway we’ve come to associate with adidas Tennis veterans like the Rod Laver and Stan Smith signature models, so how does a simple green-on-white palette suit this silhouette? Click through for more images and look for these at NSW retailers like Calirooots.

For those of you who were considering it, we’re going to say it’s OK for you to ask your girlfriend or wife for a late Valentine’s present this year. Specifically, four days after Valentine’s Day. After all, it’s been roughly thirteen long years since the Air Jordan IV White/Cement were last released in stores. Looking at these official images from Jordan Brand, one can nitpick about trifling details — the grey may be a little darker, the leather perhaps a little thinner, and the stars underneath the toe may be a little more conspicuous — or one can simply look forward to having a gorgeous new pair of Cement IVs in their lives.

New York Giants cornerback Will Blackmon was spotted at Super Bowl XLVI Media Day rocking the OG colorway of the Air Diamond Turf, but it was that model’s sequel that was featured the year Deion Sanders won his first ring. The Nike Air Diamond Turf II is back in one of its original designs to remind us that it’s been seventeen years since Prime Time and the San Francisco 49ers demolished the San Diego Chargers for a then-unprecedented fifth Lombardi Trophy. ESPN has been repeating a clip this week from that 1995 Media Day wherein Deion jokes that his Lambo was a gift from him, to him, and you can get the same kind of internal good will going on by grabbing a pair of these Air Diamond Turf IIs for yourself from select Nike Sportswear dealers. They’re set to arrive on February 8th, but have started popping up early including a full size run available now from my_shirts_co on eBay.

February is always a big month for sneaker releases, but no release may be as significant and celebrated than the Air Jordan IV in the OG ‘White/Cement’ colorway. Although the tone of grey is a bid darker than the grey seen in the ’99 version, these will certainly be one of the fastest movers off store shelves once they go available on February 18th – regardless of the minor and easily overlook-able discrepancy. Early catalog shots of this release showed ‘Tech Grey’, but recent images of the new OG-inspired box signifies ‘Cement Grey’. We’ve got a look at the official images provided by Jordan Brand, so take a good look and let us know if this might be the best sneaker release of the year.

Dwyane Wade earned his eighth NBA All-Star nod yesterday when the Miami Heat shooting guard was selected by fan vote to start in the 2012 ASG in Orlando. Based on what we’ve seen from teammate LeBron James and his fellow Nike Basketball signature superstar Kobe Bryant, it’d be natural to expect Jordan Brand to break from the traditional All-Star color palette in favor of something more novel. But before we arrive at the midseason break in three weeks, D-Wade and the Heat still have twelve games over the next twenty days. And if it turns out Agent D3 breaks out this new Jordan Fly Wade 2 PE, it’d likely be against the Hawks, Magic or Knicks (though it wouldn’t be a bad idea to give fans something good to watch when the Heat travel to Toronto, Cleveland and Sacramento, either). Click through for more, let us know if these are the best Fly Wade 2s yet and stick with Sneaker News to see when they pop up in our ongoing NBA Feet feature.

Shea White is at it again with another Bespoke Nike Air Force 1. Named the “Sunglasses and Advil”, this shoe draws inspiration from the Air Jordan 3 Black/Cement, the Air Jordan 11 “Space Jam” and the Nigel Sylvester Birthday party at the penthouse of Hotel on Rivington NYC (which gave Shea a headache/hangover the next morning). The cement print on the sockliner of the shoe represents his head crack we mentioned earlier. Also, the shoe features patent leather and a blue outlined Swoosh representing the aforementioned “Space Jam” 11s. Also, check out the Advil and sunglasses dubrae on the laces. What do you think of Mr. White’s latest Bespoke?
